Tuberculosis - Disfrasandose EP (2010)

If you wondering what the blue marks on the polybag are, your guess is as good as mine. Along with the other new Los Angeles punk EPs in the latest round of Lengua Armada releases, we have the female-fronted Tuberculosis, a band as political as they as are fast. This record has a lot going for it, and definitely gave me more than I expected, with duel female-male vocals and no filler - just straight hardcore with a very pissed off lady on the mic. I wish I was more familiar with new LA punk so I could mention similar bands from around there, but while attempting to track down where to get a hold of their demo that preceded this 7", I found that it was apparently released by Silenzio Statico, an punk collective based in Los Angeles.

Again, if you dig this (and why wouldn't you!), buy yourself a copy and support the band and the label.
